Head of Legal
As Head of Legal, you will provide strategic legal leadership across our global operations, ensuring compliance with the ever evolving regulatory landscape while enabling sustainable commercial growth. You will safeguard business interests, manage legal and reputational risk across multiple jurisdictions, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. This is a high impact, executive level role requiring deep expertise in international iGaming regulation, corporate structuring, and commercial strategy.
- Lead and define the global legal strategy across regulated and non-regulated markets.
- Enable commercial expansion while proactively managing legal, regulatory, and reputational risks.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, market entry, and product expansion.
- Lead all global iGaming licensing applications, renewals, and regulatory approvals.
- Oversee ongoing compliance with all local, regional, and international iGaming laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with regulators, advisory bodies, and external counsel.
- Design and optimise multi jurisdictional corporate structures to support scalability, tax efficiency, and asset protection.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
- Structure innovative legal solutions that balance risk with commercial opportunity.
- Oversee corporate governance, board matters, shareholder relations, and statutory filings.
- Develop and implement robust internal policies and risk mitigation frameworks.
- Prepare and oversee regulatory reporting and submissions globally.
- Protect and manage intellectual property, trademarks, and related rights.
- Foster a proactive, commercially aware legal function aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a high performing international legal team by setting clear strategic priorities, fostering accountability, and championing continuous professional growth and development.
- 7+ years of legal experience, ideally within iGaming or high growth digital sectors operating internationally.
- Qualification as a Solicitor (5+ years PQE minimum required).
- Business acumen and commercial awareness with an ability to identify and resolve legal issues quickly and effectively.
- Deep expertise operating in both regulated and non-regulated environments.
- Extensive background in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills at executive level.
- Demonstrated experience managing competing priorities in fast scaling environments.
