These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of bigbetjobs.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
Big Bet Jobs is an independent job board for the iGaming and sports betting industry, operated as a sole trader. You can contact us at support@bigbetjobs.com.
2. What we provide
Big Bet Jobs is a job-discovery service. We collect and display job listings from across the iGaming industry, sourced from third parties such as employers' career sites and public listings, and present them in one place. We also offer optional accounts, saved jobs and personalised job alerts.
We are not an employer, recruiter or recruitment agency, and we are not a party to any application, interview or employment relationship. Any application you make and any hiring decision are solely between you and the relevant employer.
3. Job listings and applications
- Listings are provided for your convenience and are aggregated from third-party sources. While we try to keep them accurate and current, we do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete, or that a role is still open or available.
- To apply for a role you will usually be directed to the employer's own website or application system. Those sites are operated by third parties and are outside our control.
- We are not responsible for the content of any listing, the conduct of any employer, or the outcome of any application.
4. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login details secure. You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or is used unlawfully.
5. Acceptable use
When using the Site you agree not to:
- use the Site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
- scrape, harvest, copy or systematically extract listings or other content, or access the Site using automated means (such as bots or crawlers) without our prior written permission;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to, interfere with, or disrupt the Site, its servers or its security;
- misuse the Site in any way that could damage it or impair its availability for others.
6. Job alerts
If you subscribe to job alerts, we send you emails matching your preferences. Alerts are provided as a convenience and on an "as is" basis. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any alert email or in your account settings. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Site, its design, branding and the content we create are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Job listings and related content remain the property of their respective owners. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Site for finding roles and managing your job search. You may not reproduce or redistribute our content except as allowed by law.
8. Third-party links
The Site contains links to third-party websites (such as employer career pages and application systems). We provide these for convenience and do not control or endorse them, and we are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.
9. Availability and changes to the Site
We aim to keep the Site available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the Site, and add or remove features, at any time without notice.
10. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, about the Site's availability, accuracy, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose, including the accuracy or availability of any job listing.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or any job listing, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from any application or dealing with an employer. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, these Terms do not affect your statutory rights.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
