Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and complete comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications and user stories for slot games.
  • Conduct detailed manual testing of slot games, including gameplay mechanics, bonus features, animations, and audio-visual elements.
  • Diagnose and resolve code errors to determine the underlying causes of problems, offering thorough details to the development team.
  • Modify game code to trigger features required by testing objectives to achieve desired test coverage.
  • Ensure games meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, including RNG testing and certification processes.
  • Generate game builds on production media with platform and core code for debug and production environments, and configure the EGMs without supervision.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems such as Jira.
  • Collaborate closely with the Game Development team, including Game Designers, Artists, and Software Development Engineers, to resolve issues found during execution of SIT test cycles.
  • Follow guidelines set by SIT management to plan and complete tests that support business objectives.
  • Suggest improvements to the overall testing process in terms of tools, processes, and test cases.
  • Mentor new or junior-level test engineers on the processes, game setup, and understanding of overall testing objectives set for the SIT team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or its equivalent.
  • A minimum of 9+ years of experience in software test engineering, with a focus on Casino/Slot games or related industries.
  • Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance standards in various jurisdictions.
  • Understanding of slot game mechanics, RNG, and dynamic/bonus systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and accomplishing testing activities for gaming products.
  • Basic understanding of automation tools or scripting languages is a plus.
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux.
  • Experience with C/C++ programming desired.
  • Analytical approach with the ability to identify root causes and propose solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
