Responsibilities
  • Lead EMEA D365 finance operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and controlled accounting across the region.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance operations team responsible for journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, transactional finance, month-end close, and D365 controls.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and collections, improving cash conversion and reducing overdue balances.
  • Lead specialist finance areas including fixed assets, cash management, and intercompany accounting.
  • Maintain strong financial controls, governance, and compliance across all processes.
  • Partner with regional finance leaders, shared services, and business stakeholders to deliver operational excellence.
  • Drive process improvements through standardisation, automation, and effective use of D365.
  • Support the build and scale of the finance operations function, shaping team culture and ways of working.
  • Develop metrics and reporting to monitor performance, risk, and effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members to build capability and support career growth.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience leading finance operations, controllership, or shared services teams in a multinational environment (required).
  • Strong expertise in balance sheet controls, reconciliations, transactional accounting, and governance (required).
  • Experience with ERP and close platforms, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and BlackLine (required).
  • Proven track record delivering process improvements, automation, and finance transformation (required).
  • Experience managing accounts receivable and driving working capital improvements (required).
  • Solid knowledge of fixed assets, cash management, and intercompany accounting (required).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams through growth and change (required).
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across finance and operations (required).
  • Continuous improvement attitude with a focus on simplification, standardisation, and automation (required).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills (required).
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent preferred (preferred).
  • Experience in regional or global shared service environments is advantageous (preferred).
