Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a QA team, ensuring effective task allocation
  • Own planning, prioritization, and execution of QA activities
  • Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and support career development
  • Maintain high product quality by applying effective testing approaches (functional, integration, regression, etc.)
  • Define, implement, and enforce QA standards, methodologies, and guidelines
  • Identify quality and delivery risks and drive proactive mitigation
  • Continuously improve QA processes to increase efficiency and scalability
  • Manage communication with key collaborators (internal and external teams)
  • Support delivery of new products, features, and integrations
  • Participate in hiring, development, and retention of team members
  • Accountable for QA quality and testing outcomes
  • Ensure adherence to timelines, processes, and internal standards
  • Coordinate team workload while minimising risks of excessive burden and attrition
  • Maintain transparency and bring up issues to management in a timely manner
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and business teams
  • Maintain regular communication with direct manager
  • Provide reporting on progress, quality, and risks
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading and managing QA teams
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills
  • Experience with different kinds of testing (functional, integration, regression)
  • Capability to recognise and address risks efficiently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with agile methodologies and software development life cycle
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a QA role
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus
