This is a hybrid position, combining remote work with three days per week working from our Skopje office.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and Security teams to build secure solutions based on AWS services and on-prem environments.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement security solutions including IAM, encryption, data protection, and network security.
  • Provision, operate, and manage AWS cloud environments and on-prem data centers securely.
  • Configure and maintain security groups, network ACLs, and other AWS security-related components and services.
  • Monitor security systems and tools to identify and address potential security risks or vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to securely deploy applications using tools such as Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards through security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
  • Manage IAM roles, policies, and permissions to implement least privilege access controls.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing remediation measures.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for security incident response.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 + years of experience in the Information Technology Security domain, concentrating on AWS security and on-prem environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS security components, services, and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to analyze complex security issues.
  • Strong ability to work independently and cross-functionally with team members.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with collaborators and convey complex security concepts.
  • Experience in building and managing automated CI/CD pipelines and employing tools like Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with traditional security controls such as AntiVirus, Data Security, Network Security, Patching, and Firewalls.
  • Proven ability to conduct security assessments and collaborate with auditors during compliance audits.
