Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will play a key role within the Finance Department, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timely completion of all financial processes. This position is responsible for maintaining high-quality accounting records, supporting monthly and annual reporting cycles and contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of financial transactions within the ERP system.
- Prepare and execute payment runs across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring strict adherence to internal controls and company policies.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts, including but not limited to bank accounts, customer and vendor balances, accruals, and other general ledger accounts.
- Process payroll documentation and prepare payroll reports across applicable jurisdictions.
- Support month-end closing and the preparation of management accounts.
- Assist in preparing and submitting VAT/tax returns and other statutory reports.
- Assist in coordinating statutory and tax audits, including the preparation of required audit schedules, supporting documentation and responses to auditor queries.
- Collaborate with all finance team members to ensure alignment and efficiency across financial operations.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to other accountants.
- Chartered / Certified Accountant or equivalent qualification. (required)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Finance role. (required)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting. (required)
- Proficiency in D365 and advanced Excel. (required)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. (required)
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. (required)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style. (required)
- Proactive, organised and focused on continuous improvement. (required)
- Experience in the gaming industry is desirable but not essential. (preferred)
