Senior Vice President, Finance - Gaming
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer for Aristocrat with dotted line reporting to Chief Executive Officer for Aristocrat Gaming, the Senior Vice President, Finance – Gaming will serve as a critical member of the Aristocrat Gaming leadership team and the global finance leadership team. This role will function as the lead financial executive for Aristocrat's global Gaming organization, partnering with the Gaming Leadership Team to set the vision and direction through resource allocation decisions across the business and geographic regions. The role carries responsibility for financial operations including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), business decision support, reporting and controls. The role will have significant and regular exposure to the executive management team. In addition to management of the business plan, the Senior Vice President, Finance – Gaming and team will provide financial insights that drive strategic decisions, financial forecasts, and operating plans. This executive will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling financial-related activities for Aristocrat's global Gaming business. This executive will drive financial performance through high-quality decision support and FP&A, including overall P&L, sales and margin management, and close control over cost and expense management. The role requires an influential leader who can be a trusted business partner and collaborate effectively across the broader enterprise to support delivery of total enterprise value. The successful candidate must have the ability to function in a matrixed environment at a broad-based, strategic level while being capable of driving detailed, tactical execution.
- Set vision and direction for the global Gaming finance function driving innovation and improvement of the financial planning and analysis processes and rigor to provide high value-added decision-making support to leaders across the organization. Leverage detailed knowledge of Aristocrat's business to promote innovative concepts and new ideas that advance the company's competitive position.
- Serve as the right-hand thought partner to the Chief Executive Officer for Aristocrat Gaming and be the key business partner for the Gaming leadership team, identifying areas to strengthen the operations and performance of the business. Consistently work with abstract ideas and situations across functional areas of the business, assessing intangible variables to identify and evaluate core issues and provide strategy and direction for major functional areas. Delivering enterprise value with a customer driven mindset.
- Continue to support the ongoing transformation initiatives within the Gaming organization and the company at large by driving forward Aristocrat's transformation agenda as well as assessing additional areas of opportunity. Contribute to the development and evolution of the global finance operating model to deliver significant short- and long-term improvements across finance's processes, systems, and tools.
- Develop, lead, organize, and manage a high-functioning global Gaming Finance department. Provide vision and direction to senior managers across various areas, groups, and operations, ensuring the Finance team is briefed on their mandate and accountable in supporting Aristocrat's performance and success.
- Together with the management team, embody a culture of humility and high performance, all while driving initiatives forward with a progressive cadence to stay ahead of the company's ambitious agenda and plans for growth. Drive a strategic talent plan to ensure the ongoing development of Aristocrat's finance talent.
- Partner with the business to develop, recommend, and establish the short-term and long-range financial plans for the global Gaming organization consistent with corporate strategy and corresponding initiatives for the growth of the business. Requires in-depth knowledge of the finance function, business strategies, and the company's goals as well as external factors affecting governance of company activities and the broader market. Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of financial short- and long-term strategic objectives and drive accountability for delivery against targets and business objectives
- Interact internally and externally with executive-level management, consultants, customers and corporate leaders. Provide creative insights, implications, and recommendations about current and future financial trends and areas for improvement, focus, or investment. Ensure that commercial ambition is balanced with effective and rigorous focus on returns.
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place supporting compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, ASX requirements, and applicable federal, state, local, and international regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
- 15+ years in Finance, including 10+ years in senior/executive leadership roles within large, global organizations (required)
- Proven experience as a divisional CFO / SVP Finance / Head of Finance with ownership of a large, complex P&L (multi-billion scale, global scope) (required)
- Deep expertise across FP&A, business partnering, accounting, reporting, and controls (required)
- Demonstrated track record of influencing enterprise strategy and executive decision-making (CFO, President, ELT-level exposure) (required)
- Significant experience operating in a global, matrixed environment across multiple regions and business units (required)
- Proven leadership of distributed finance teams, including senior leaders (VP-level and above) (required)
- Strong track record in finance transformation (AI, operating model, systems, processes, and analytics enablement) (required)
- Deep understanding of commercial drivers (revenue growth, margin management, cost discipline, capital allocation) (required)
- A proven conceptual and strategic thinker who is capable of distilling, packaging and presenting complex information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner (required)
- Individual must be seen as a strong business person who knows how to partner with senior executives and guide change (required)

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting (or equivalent), with advanced qualifications preferred (e.g., CA/CPA, MBA) (required)
