Sr. Engineer I (Manual Testing)

As a Senior Engineer I (Manual Testing), you will have a key role in making sure our products meet top quality and performance standards. - Analyze new features and improvements to define test scope, dependencies, and risk areas.
- Build, develop, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Complete functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing to ensure flawless product performance.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of testing artifacts and checklists.
- Provide clear test status updates and defect metrics for releases.
- Record, monitor, and confirm defects using tools such as JIRA and Zephyr.
- Carry out detailed root cause analysis and offer valuable insights to development teams.
- Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot and validate fixes.
- Use debugging and profiling tools (e.g., Valgrind, Google Sanitizer) to identify performance and memory-related issues.
- Follow established QA processes and standards, while finding opportunities to streamline workflows and improve testing efficiency.
- Contribute to improving test strategies and operational practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 3-4 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software development lifecycles.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and evaluate application code to assist with testing and root cause analysis.
- Working knowledge of at least one scripting language (preferably Python).
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, etc.).
- Hands-on debugging and troubleshooting experience using industry-standard tools.
- Experience with profiling utilities like Valgrind and Google Sanitizer.
- Experience working with source control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify automation opportunities.
