Sustainability Reporting Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the sustainability journey of a global ASX-listed entertainment and technology company operating in a constantly evolving regulatory environment. As part of the Group Corporate Affairs & Marketing function, the Sustainability team helps develop and communicate Aristocrat’s sustainability strategy and performance. They assist the business in meeting shifting customer expectations and global regulatory demands.
As Sustainability Reporting Specialist, you will support the delivery and continuous improvement of Aristocrat’s sustainability reporting program. Reporting to the Director - Group Sustainability, you will collaborate with Sustainability team members and professionals across the organisation. You will coordinate reporting activities, support ESG disclosure requirements, and improve reporting processes and governance. This role offers broad exposure across the business and an opportunity to deepen your experience in sustainability reporting within a global organisation. You will partner with teams including Responsible Gameplay, Risk, Cybersecurity, Privacy, People & Culture, Global Supply Chain, and Investor Relations to support the preparation of sustainability disclosures, and respond to evolving regulatory expectations. Key responsibilities include driving the annual voluntary sustainability reporting cycle, coordinating ESG data collection and reporting processes, assisting with climate-related disclosures, and supporting assurance readiness and reporting governance improvements.
- Coordinate and support the development of Aristocrat’s annual voluntary sustainability report, including narrative drafting and collaborator engagement.
- Coordinate Aristocrat’s sustainability reporting platform to support data collection, collaboration, and reporting workflows.
- Partner with subject matter experts across the business to gather and validate qualitative and quantitative sustainability information.
- Support the preparation of climate-related disclosures under AASB S2 for inclusion in Aristocrat’s Annual Report.
- Assist with internal and external assurance activities and support ongoing improvement of reporting controls and processes.
- Partner with Investor Relations to support responses to ESG ratings agencies and investor sustainability queries.
- Conduct peer benchmarking and monitor emerging sustainability reporting trends, frameworks, and regulatory developments.
- Collaborate with the Communications team to help promote sustainability initiatives and reporting outcomes internally and externally.
- Support modern slavery reporting and other ESG disclosure requirements as needed.
- 3–5 years proven experience in sustainability, ESG, or non-financial reporting within a corporate, consulting, or regulated environment (required).
- Solid understanding of sustainability disclosure frameworks and standards such as ISSB/AASB, TCFD, GRI, or SASB (required).
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to prioritise and deadlines (required).
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail (required).
- Experience supporting sustainability reporting processes, data collection, or disclosure development (required).
- Collaborative attitude with the ability to work optimally across a broad range of business functions (required).
- Experience using sustainability reporting or ESG data management tools is advantageous (nice-to-have).
- Exposure to assurance processes, ASX-listed reporting environments, or evolving global disclosure requirements would be beneficial (nice-to-have).
