Data Protection Analyst

You will support the department’s interpretation of international data protection and privacy legislation, in particular those around the supply of information to applicable internal operational entities. This role will require a detailed understanding of EU and UK data protection and privacy regulations, leading to a common understanding with team members, key stakeholders, and various teams within the company. Key deliverables will be comprehensive data protection and risk assessments documentation and decision logging, which can be worked through in conjunction with various parties and other team members to produce relevant technical solutions. You will contribute to delivering ongoing and future data protection regulatory change work, alongside improving the documentation and existing processes that serve current regulated markets.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
- Identifying non-conformity within the Business and escalating appropriately.
- Producing high calibre documentation including applicable risk assessments.
- Supporting the project process to ensure that data protection and privacy are considered throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assisting internal and external audits where necessary.
- Identifying appropriate data protection and privacy knowledge and transferring into the Business as required.
- Reviewing third party data protection agreements
- Staying up to date with new regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring the Data Protection mailbox, ensuring that all enquiries are responded to appropriately and promptly.
- Knowledge of UK and European data protection and privacy laws. (required)
