Junior In-Play Trader
This role is an opportunity to learn how the odds evolve during a game. The In-play Trading team is responsible for covering all live in-play events and plays a crucial role in shaping our customer experience. An In-play trader manages events from a wide range of sports, including football, basketball, tennis but also General Sports such as volleyball, ice-hockey, beach volleyball etc. They even offer special markets in many of them, surpassing those of other operators. This position demands concentration and observation, combined with a mathematical background, in order to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our users. The role requires a flexible working schedule to cover the busy sporting calendar (weekends, evenings etc.).
- Monitor real - time sports events and perform live trading.
- Supervise and adjust data with the aim of providing precise and competitive live odds.
- Provide accurate and rapid resulting for any event of a variety of sports.
- Use both external providers and in-house odds to optimize/customize our offerings and performance.
- Evaluate events according to their potential demand, to offer the widest and the most competitive offer market wise.
- Continuously monitor bet placements, assess live events risks and take appropriate measures to manage and mitigate risks.
- Ensure that customers have access to the most up-to-date and competitive odds, enhancing the overall betting experience.
- Maintain effective communication within the trading team and with external stakeholders to ensure a unified and coordinated approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g statistics, mathematics,finance) (required)
- Strong interest in sports with a good understanding of various sports and betting markets (required)
- Proven analytical and mathematical skills (required)
- Betting/sportsbook's playing experience/activity (required)
- A keen eye for detail (required)
- Be able to make quick, well-informed decisions and work within tight deadlines (required)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills (required)
- Multitasking abilities and PC literacy (required)
- Fluency in English (required)
