Description

The Responsible Gaming (RG) Officer will develop and manage RG compliance strategies to meet regulatory standards in assigned markets. As the company expands into regulated markets, this role ensures that RG practices align with evolving requirements, support business continuity, and are tailored to each market’s specific needs. The RG Officer collaborates closely with various departments to ensure RG standards are upheld across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Regulatory Compliance Officer to develop and localize RG policies and processes in line with industry and regulatory standards across assigned markets.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of RG policies, regulatory submissions, and compliance activities, ensuring transparency for assigned markets.
  • Define and track KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of compliance reporting and RG monitoring initiatives.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on RG compliance and governance metrics, providing insights and recommendations tailored to each market's specific needs.
  • Monitor regulatory developments in RG to keep assigned markets in compliance with current and anticipated regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments for assigned markets and implement measures to address RG-related risks.
  • Respond to regulatory requests, including audits and compliance inquiries, for each assigned market to maintain high standards of regulatory interaction.
  • Act as the RG lead on expansion projects, ensuring RG standards are integrated into market entry strategies (“compliance by design”).
  • Conduct gap analysιs to identify specific compliance needs for new or re-regulated markets.
  • Maintain and manage localized RG Product Requirements Document and update Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) as needed for compliance in each assigned market.
  • Ensure tools meet localized business needs for player risk identification in each market.
  • Develop expertise in using these tools for assigned markets to provide effective oversight and insights into player behavior.
  • Oversee knowledge transfer process to the Operations Back Office (BKO) team, who will take over daily operations, with an emphasis on localized requirements.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to improve policies and identify behavioral trends.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of regulatory changes, RG processes, and business impacts of new requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Commercial, Marketing, Technology, Compliance, Technical Compliance and Product to embed RG practices across departments, tailoring approaches to market-specific needs.
  • Clearly communicate RG and regulatory requirements to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for employees on RG standards and monitoring tools.
  • Ensure teams understand RG policies and practices, reinforcing compliance and awareness throughout the organization.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and innovations in responsible gaming.
  • Recommend and implement best practices to continuously improve the organization’s RG framework and meet evolving standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years in governance, compliance, or responsible gaming, ideally within the gaming, financial, or regulatory sectors.
  • Strong understanding of RG frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in cross-functional stakeholder management, especially in regulated industries.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Cultural awareness and experience in localizing policies across diverse markets.
  • Experience with data analytics and monitoring tools (Nice to have).
  • Familiarity with business continuity planning, especially in high-growth or expansion-focused environments (Nice to have).
  • Professional certifications in compliance, governance, or risk management (e.g., CCEP, CRMP) are considered an advantage (Nice to have).
