The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D design, including modelling, texturing and rendering. You will be responsible for creating visually stunning 3D assets for a wide range of projects, including product design, marketing materials, virtual environments, and more. You will collaborate with other graphic designers to bring concepts to life in a 3D space.
- Develop and create high-quality 3D models based on concepts, sketches, and technical specifications
- Model various assets, including characters, products, environments, and props, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Apply textures, shaders, and materials to 3D models to achieve realistic or stylized looks as required by the project
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 3D assets library, ensuring that all models, textures, and materials are well-organised and easily accessible
- Present 3D designs and concepts in a clear and professional manner
- Regularly update the assets library with new models and textures to support ongoing and future projects
- Implement best practices for file management and documentation within the assets library
- Work closely with other members of the design team, including graphic designers and animators to ensure cohesive visual storytelling
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide input on visual concepts and design strategies
- Meet deadlines and ensure deliverables are aligned with project goals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest 3D design software, tools, and techniques
- Optimise models for various platforms, including web, mobile, and SMM
- Maintain organised project files, ensuring all assets are properly named, stored, and backed up
- Document processes and workflows to ensure consistency and ease of use across the design team
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time and meet the specified deadlines
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in 3D design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in modelling, texturing, and rendering
- Expert knowledge of 3D design software such as Cinema 4D
- Proficiency in texturing tools such as Adobe Photoshop
- Familiarity with rendering engines like Redshift
- Experience with animation software and techniques is a plus
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into compelling 3D designs.
- Keen eye for detail, colour, composition, and form
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
- Eagerness to learn new tools and techniques as needed
