3D Generalist — Unreal Engine & Environment Animation
We build immersive digital environments seen by audiences around the world. Our team produces high-end visual environments for digital entertainment experiences, combining real-time engines, cinematic lighting, and carefully crafted environmental motion. We are looking for a 3D Generalist who is comfortable working inside Unreal Engine and enjoys bringing environments to life through subtle, believable animation. This role is not about cinematic character animation or long film sequences. Instead, it focuses on short, looped, production-ready environmental animations — moving vegetation, atmospheric effects, rain, lighting variations, mechanical movements, or environmental interactions like opening doors or shifting architectural elements. If you care deeply about realism, physical behavior, environmental detail, and making digital spaces feel alive, this role is for you.
- Create and animate realistic 3D environments for digital entertainment productions.
- Work primarily in Unreal Engine to build production-ready environmental scenes.
- Develop short, looped environmental animations such as wind movement, rain, foliage motion, mechanical elements, or environmental effects.
- Animate environmental interactions such as opening structures, moving architectural elements, or environmental transitions.
- Collaborate with art directors and 3D environment designers to bring scenes to life.
- Ensure all animations feel natural, physically believable, and visually polished.
- Optimize assets and animations for real-time production pipelines.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating environment work and animation.
- Professional experience using Unreal Engine.
- Ability to create environmental animation loops and atmospheric effects.
- Solid understanding of lighting, physics-based motion, and environment composition.
- Experience working with real-time rendering pipelines.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools for concept exploration or asset generation.
Portfolio Requirements:
- Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed.
- Portfolio must include environment work created in Unreal Engine or similar real-time engines.
- Work should demonstrate realistic environmental animation (foliage, weather, environmental motion, mechanical movement, etc.).
