Description

The LiveOps (NOC) Team at Betsson Group is responsible for keeping brands live and running by delivering the best service and supporting the Group and its customers. The Incident Engineer will act as the first point of contact for all production incidents and manage incident management to ensure maximum service availability and performance. This role involves monitoring systems and coordinating the handling and resolution of events or incidents within the infrastructure and with providers. The Incidents Team plays a vital role in minimising incidents across the Group's many brands. This role offers exposure to different tech stacks and guidance from experienced leaders, serving as a stepping stone into development, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps teams within the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Detection, correlation and analysis of events in the technical environment.
  • Executing mitigation steps when possible.
  • Managing Betsson Group’s ticket system for incidents, events and maintenance.
  • Dispatch and escalate tickets to the correct support group.
  • Maintaining frequent notification and ticket updates across multiple channels in English (both written and verbal).
  • Direct contact with our 3rd party providers.
  • Being the single point of contact for all communication in relation to production issues.
Requirements
  • Attention to detail with good analytical thinking (required).
  • Well rounded general IT knowledge in Windows/Linux/SQL/Cloud computing and Virtual environments (required).
  • Ability to work well under pressure (required).
  • You will be working on 24/7 shift basis with opportunity for remote working on limited basis (required).
