As our Associate Corporate Development, you will play a key role in identifying, analysing, and executing M&A and investment opportunities to drive Super Group’s growth, as well as supporting broader strategic projects across the Group, for us to stay ahead of the game.
- Lead the execution of M&A transactions across the full deal lifecycle, including sourcing, due diligence, structuring, and closing
- Lead strategic and venture investments, from origination through execution and portfolio management
- Lead broader strategic projects across the Group, including new market entries and internal due diligence / strategic reviews
- Conduct sector, market, and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities
- Build and analyse financial models, including operating models, DCFs, returns analysis, and customer cohort and unit economics analysis
- Drive due diligence workstreams across financial, legal, commercial, technology, and regulatory areas
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors
- Maintain relationships with banks, advisors, potential targets, and industry participants, and attend industry events and conferences
- Clear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas (required)
- A collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross‑functional teams to hit shared goals (required)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball (required)
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality work (required)
- Adaptability – you stay sharp, productive and positive in fast‑moving environments (required)
- 2+ years of experience from investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or strategy consulting (required)
- Strong track record of executing M&A transactions and investments (required)
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills (required)
- Proven ability to lead due diligence workstreams (required)
- Comfortable working independently with minimal guidance, while exercising good judgment on when to seek support (required)
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and an independent mindset, with the ability to challenge assumptions (required)
- Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills (required)
- High agency, adaptability, and proactivity, with a positive, can-do attitude (required)
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university (e.g. Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, LBS, HEC, ETH, Bocconi). Master’s degree preferred (required)
- In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends (preferred)
- Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations (preferred)
- Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards (preferred)
- Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies (preferred)
- Fluency in English. Additional European or African languages are advantageous (preferred)
- Experience in the technology, sports betting, gaming, or entertainment sectors is advantageous (preferred)
