As our Sports Trader, you will work in a team of self-organised traders who cover a large portfolio of sports across our global markets. In your position you will perform pre-match and live trading. Your drive and ideas will help us move faster, improve smarter, and stay ahead of the game.
- Compiling odds for a variety of desk specific markets
- Monitoring real-time sports events/results
- Building on existing knowledge of industry’s policies, systems and procedures
- Performing analysis of market trends and observing competitors
- Performing customer analysis and monitoring bet limits
- Performing pre-match and live sports trading
- Managing database and sportsbook related escalations
- Updating databases that will assist with trading/compilation
- Covering trading responsibilities on other Trading desks as required.
- Clear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas (required)

- Experience in pre-match and live trading (required)
- Experience with various sports trading systems/tools (required)
- Experience with risk management and betting patterns (required)
- Familiarity with the industry market trends (required)
- Knowledge on the industry’s key policies, systems and procedures (required)
- Flexibility to work on shift patterns that include weekends and bank holidays, and may also include early, evening and night working hours (required)
- In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends (preferred)
- Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations (preferred)
- Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards (preferred)
- Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies (preferred)
- Ability to adapt to new structures, processes and procedures (preferred)
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationship across the business (preferred)
- Ability to understand the operational aspect of the business (preferred)
