As our Vendor Risk Manager, you’ll play a key part in delivering a robust, scalable, and audit‑ready third‑party risk management capability across the group, getting hands-on with vendor security assessments, risk analysis, remediation tracking, and stakeholder engagement. Your drive and ideas will help us move faster, improve smarter, and stay ahead of the game.

Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain the group‑wide vendor risk management framework covering onboarding, periodic review, and offboarding.
  • Ensure alignment with ISO/IEC 27001 supplier controls, internal risk management policies, and regulatory obligations.
  • Maintain classification criteria for vendor criticality and risk tiers.
  • Oversee execution of third‑party security and risk assessments using approved tooling.
  • Ensure assessments are proportionate to vendor criticality, data access, and service impact.
  • Review and challenge assessment outputs, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Ensure vendor risks are documented in the enterprise risk management solution and linked to relevant services and owners.
  • Coordinate risk treatment plans with business stakeholders and vendors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor risk matters across the organisation.
  • Work with Procurement, Legal and Data Protection to ensure security requirements are embedded into contracts and renewals.
  • Engage vendors to obtain evidence, clarify responses, and support remediation.
  • Provide regular reporting on vendor risk posture, assessment status, and outstanding risk issues.
  • Support audit, regulatory, and certification activities by providing evidence and responses.
  • Identify trends, systemic issues, and opportunities to improve the vendor risk process.
  • Evolve vendor risk assessment methodologies, questionnaires, and scoring models.
  • Promote consistency and standardisation across group entities.
Requirements
  • Clear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas (required)
  • A collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross‑functional teams to hit shared goals (required)
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball (required)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality work (required)

  • Demonstrable experience in vendor, third‑party, or supplier risk management (required)
  • Strong understanding of information security and risk governance principles (required)
  • Experience running structured vendor risk assessments and managing remediation (required)
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills (required)
  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends (preferred)
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations (preferred)
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards (preferred)
  • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies (preferred)
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g. gambling, financial services, payments) (preferred)
  • Familiarity with vendor risk platforms (preferred)
  • Understanding of related frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, PCI DSS) (preferred)
  • Experience operating across multiple jurisdictions and entities (preferred)
