Team Lead ASO
We are currently looking for a Team Lead ASO for one of our businesses, Traffic7, who will own and drive the ASO strategy across our finance app portfolio while leading and developing the ASO team. Traffic7 is a project that creates and develops digital products and scales them through strong expertise in performance marketing.
- Own and drive the overall ASO strategy across the finance app portfolio (Android, and later iOS).
- Lead, mentor, and grow the ASO team; set goals, review work, and ensure quality.
- Build and maintain ASO processes and team standards, provide clear reporting to stakeholders, and ensure effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.
- Plan and prioritize the ASO roadmap across multiple apps and GEOs.
- Perform and oversee ASO audits and in-depth competitor analysis in the finance niche.
- Set and monitor team KPIs and key performance metrics (installs, CVR, retention, ratings); identify growth opportunities.
- Oversee optimisation of app metadata, visuals (icons, screenshots), and descriptions for better visibility and conversion.
- Oversee A/B testing programs and ensure decisions are driven by data.
- Plan, manage, and analyse motivated traffic campaigns; align them with ASO strategy and keyword ranking goals.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of new ASO specialists.
- Stay updated on platform guidelines and market trends, especially in the finance vertical.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in ASO, including at least 1 year leading or mentoring a team (required).
- Strong expertise in ASO for finance-related apps, including payday loans, cash advance, and car insurance niches (required).
- Proven hands-on experience with both Google Play and App Store (active iOS scaling planned) (required).
- In-depth knowledge of Google Play and App Store guidelines, especially in gray-area regions — ability to build processes that minimise policy violations across the team (required).
- Advanced skills in A/B testing for icons, screenshots, and descriptions, plus the ability to define a team-wide testing framework (required).
- Experience with Apple Search Ads (ASA) and motivated traffic acquisition strategies (required).
- Hands-on experience with motivated traffic — understanding how to plan, launch, and evaluate motivated traffic campaigns and their impact on ASO and rankings (required).
- Deep understanding of mobile analytics and the interdependence of key performance metrics (e.g., CVR, retention, LTV), and ability to set team KPIs around them (required).
- Strong research and keyword optimisation skills for English-speaking markets (USA, Canada) (required).
- Ability to build and own ASO strategy, prioritise a roadmap across multiple apps, and translate it into clear tasks for the team (required).
- Experience hiring, onboarding, and growing ASO specialists (required).
- Familiarity with app localisation and launching apps across multiple GEOs (required).
