Description

We are looking for a skilled Engineering Manager to join our team in Valencia, Spain. This role is office-based in Valencia, with relocation assistance provided if needed. The Engineering Manager will lead multiple Flutter teams and be responsible for the mobile engineering strategy, architecture, and delivery processes. This position requires driving release management, CI/CD, and operational excellence while ensuring app quality, stability, and performance across platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple Flutter teams and team leads
  • Own mobile engineering strategy, architecture, and delivery processes
  • Drive release management, CI/CD, and operational excellence
  • Ensure app quality, stability, and performance across platforms
  • Establish engineering standards, best practices, and testing strategy
  • Monitor and improve mobile app health and reliability metrics
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Backend teams
  • Mentor engineering leads and support organizational scaling
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the mobile ecosystem, platform lifecycles, Flutter, and iOS/Android specifics (required)
  • Experience with App Store / Google Play release and compliance processes (required)
  • Understanding of cross-platform development trade-offs and economics (required)
  • Experience managing mobile release cycles and CI/CD pipelines (required)
  • Ability to drive architectural decisions across core and feature teams (required)
  • Strong knowledge of mobile architecture and design patterns (required)
  • Understanding of mobile testing strategy and testing pyramid (required)
  • Experience with mobile health metrics: crashes, ANR, responsiveness, performance, stability (required)
  • Proven experience managing 3+ engineering teams and multiple team leads (required)
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills (required)
