Legal Counsel
We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our dynamic legal team on-site in Valencia, Spain. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the iGaming industry and independently handle complex commercial and corporate matters, support cross-functional teams, and ensure the business meets all regulatory and operational requirements.
- Draft and review a wide range of legal agreements, including commercial contracts (Marketing Agreements, IOs, T&Cs, License Agreements) and corporate agreements (Share Purchase Agreements, NDAs, Service Agreements).
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to technology platforms, payment solutions, PSPs, banking partners, affiliates, and B2B integrations.
- Conduct advanced contract negotiations and independently finalize complex agreements.
- Perform legal research and liaise with external counsel or outsourced providers to obtain relevant information.
- Review and advise on data protection and privacy-related agreements.
- Provide in-house legal support across multiple operational areas while ensuring alignment with business needs and industry regulations.
- Act as a key internal contact for cross-departmental legal queries, offering practical, business-oriented legal advice.
- Law degree, preferably from a common law jurisdiction.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a commercial environment.
- Strong familiarity with data protection and privacy laws.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proven experience in the iGaming industry
- Proven ability to manage a broad in-house legal portfolio, including commercial, regulatory, marketing, and finance-related matters.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to provide practical, business-focused legal solutions.
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism, able to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including product, finance, compliance, risk, and marketing.
