Reporting Engineer

Description

We are looking for a Reporting Engineer to join our Data Warehouse team. In this role, you will develop and maintain regulatory and in-house reporting solutions that ensure compliance, data accuracy, and reliable insights for both internal stakeholders and B2B clients. You will work closely with software developers and the DWH team to maintain and improve our reporting ecosystem, troubleshoot existing queries, and ensure reporting evolves alongside product and data changes. This role plays an important part in maintaining data integrity, supporting regulatory requirements, and continuously improving reporting performance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop high-performing SQL queries and reporting solutions on large datasets.
  • Build and maintain regulatory, in-house, and B2B client reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing reports, improving performance and data integrity.
  • Ensure data consistency by analyzing dependencies between reports.
  • Maintain and improve documentation for reporting logic, KPIs, and data transformations.
  • Identify and help reduce technical debt in reporting solutions.
  • Support the DWH team in maintaining and improving the reporting ecosystem.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders as needed.
  • Identify and contribute to process and reporting improvements.
Requirements
  • Strong experience writing efficient SQL queries on large datasets.
  • Good understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and database architecture.
  • Experience in reporting, data analysis, or data engineering roles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Python or JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge and experience with tools like Prefect or Telerik is a plus.
  • This role may require a gaming license in any jurisdiction in which the company operates, and this position may require the ability to secure and maintain a license in all relevant jurisdictions. A gaming license application utilizes personal data, a criminal and credit check, and fingerprints.
