Growth Marketing Specialist
As a Specialist, Growth Marketing (Digital), you’ll own the Paid Social acquisition strategy and performance for our Casino products, driving growth through data-informed decision making, experimentation, and optimisation. You’ll operate as a channel expert, independently identifying opportunities, prioritising testing initiatives, and influencing acquisition strategy through actionable insights. Working across the Growth Marketing Team, Creative Team, Product Team, Analytics Team, and Marketing Operations Team, you’ll shape how we acquire and engage customers while continuously improving the processes, frameworks, and strategies that fuel long-term growth. Your work will have a direct impact on business performance, channel innovation, and the future of customer acquisition at DraftKings.
- Own Paid Social performance end-to-end, serving as the primary channel expert responsible for acquisition, efficiency, and profitability outcomes across Casino products.
- Independently develop, prioritise, and execute a testing roadmap across creative, bidding, targeting, placements, audience strategy, and campaign structure to drive sustainable performance improvements.
- Manage media buying efforts through audience development, campaign optimisation, creative testing, and inventory expansion while identifying new opportunities to scale performance.
- Analyse campaign and market performance data to uncover growth opportunities, translate findings into strategic recommendations, and influence acquisition strategy and investment decisions.
- Partner closely with the Creative Team, Brand Team, Product Team, Analytics Team, and Marketing Operations Team to develop high-performing growth initiatives and direct response creative aligned to business objectives.
- Create detailed creative briefs and provide actionable feedback that improves campaign performance, strengthens creative effectiveness, and drives customer acquisition.
- Present performance insights, testing results, and strategic recommendations to marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders through clear, data-driven storytelling.
- Drive continuous improvements to campaign operations, testing frameworks, reporting processes, and team workflows that increase efficiency, scalability, and overall marketing effectiveness.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. (required)
- At least 4 years of experience in media buying, acquisition marketing, performance marketing, or mobile marketing, with hands-on experience across digital advertising platforms. (required)
- Proven experience owning Paid Social strategy and performance, with accountability for business outcomes beyond day-to-day campaign execution. (required)
- Demonstrated ability to independently identify opportunities, prioritise initiatives, and build testing roadmaps that drive measurable growth. (required)
- Strong knowledge of digital media optimisation, structured experimentation, bidding strategies, attribution methodologies, incrementality testing, and campaign measurement. (required)
- Experience serving as a subject matter expert within a digital marketing channel, influencing strategy through data-driven recommendations and cross-functional partnerships. (required)
- A track record of improving processes, workflows, reporting frameworks, or operational efficiencies that increase team effectiveness and campaign performance. (required)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL, cohort analysis, mobile attribution, and performance measurement frameworks is preferred. (preferred)
