Description

EEZE is expanding rapidly across multiple live casino studios and international offices. As we continue our ambitious growth journey, we’re expanding our Legal & Compliance team with the addition of a Legal Officer who will play a key role in supporting our business operations across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of agreements with clients, suppliers, and other partners, ensuring they meet legal and company standards.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including contracts, legal letters, corporate resolutions, and internal policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the administration of internal committees or subcommittees, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Maintain and update the company’s contract management system, ensuring all agreements are accurately stored, tracked, and renewed on time.
  • Assist in ensuring company compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including employment law, IT law, intellectual property, data protection, and anti–money laundering.
  • Conduct legal research to support business decisions and keep the team informed on relevant legal and regulatory developments.
  • Identify potential legal risks and support the mitigation process by offering practical, business-aligned solutions.
  • Provide day-to-day legal support for various projects and cross-functional initiatives within the group.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) or Master of Advocacy (M.Adv.) from the University of Malta (or equivalent) (required).
  • Over 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial law, preferably within a regulated or international business environment (required).
  • Strong knowledge of Maltese employment and commercial law (required).
  • Experience in corporate governance, company secretarial matters, and group structuring (required).
  • Excellent command of Maltese and English (both written and spoken) (required).
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills (required).
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency (required).
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across departments (required).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with senior stakeholders (required).
