Senior Infrastructure Engineer- Network
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer executes a range of activities using Automation, Enterprise Systems Management (ESM), and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) technologies, delivering important capabilities within the infrastructure landscape. Complete the implementation of high-level designs for stable network and infrastructure environments that meet Entain's needs, shares them with partners, and complies with current security, privacy, and audit requirements. Provide technical knowledge where needed to support managers, principals or technical experts to resolve issues. Collaborate with application development, enterprise architecture, infrastructure and cyber security teams to develop and implement a compelling product roadmap. Implement the automation and orchestration capabilities across the environment and establish procedures that promote efficiency, solving a range of daily user problems. Deliver daily support to internal tools and system health, and infrastructure implemented for all projects and manages customer support contracts. Collaborate with technical architects, using experience to translate architectural designs into operations. Document the processes, measurements, and assessments required for both personal and project work. Develop and shares with team knowledge on new trends and changes in infrastructure engineering. Implement ways to improve working processes within the area of infrastructure engineering responsibility through data analysis, including network and infrastructure performance and health, to identify issues and areas for improvement.

- Completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in core networking. (required)
- Fluent English (minimum B1 level) is a prerequisite. (required)
- Core Networking: Network Topology & TCP/IP: knowledge for designing and troubleshooting networks. (required)
- Core Networking: DNS: Expertise in name resolution and application connectivity. (required)
- Core Networking: Routing & Switching (Cisco/Juniper): Proficient in managing enterprise networks and ensuring efficient traffic flow. (required)
- Core Networking: Firewalls (FortiGate/Palo Alto): Accomplished in network security and segmentation. (required)
- Advanced Networking: Experience installing HAProxy / F5 in production environments. (required)
- Advanced Networking: Troubleshoot L4/L7 traffic flows and HAProxy / F5 configuration issues. (required)
- Advanced Networking: DDoS Mitigation: Experience protecting against large-scale attacks. (required)
- Advanced Networking: Application Layer: Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS for secure communication. (required)
- Automation & Scripting: Hands-on experience scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell. (required)
- Automation & Scripting: Knowledge of: REST APIs (F5 iControl REST, HAProxy Data Plane API), Infrastructure automation tools (Ansible preferred), CI/CD pipeline integration for configuration deployment, Configuration management using Git. (required)
- Monitoring: Network Monitoring: Familiarity with SNMP, REST APIs, and monitoring tools for proactive issue detection. (required)
- Cloud & Remote Access: Cloud Technologies (AWS/GCP): Ability to design and manage hybrid or cloud-native network architectures using services like VPC, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway. (required)
- Cloud & Remote Access: Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) with Palo Alto: Implement secure remote access solutions based on Zero Trust principles, ensuring identity-based access control and minimizing attack surfaces. (required)
