Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in Zagreb, Croatia! The Zagreb office is part of OddsMatrix, which empowers clients to unleash bold ideas and deliver outstanding player experiences. For over a decade, we have offered tailored B2B sports betting solutions for every market. Featured services include turnkey betting software (online, retail and omnichannel), real-time sports data APIs and data feeds.
- Proposing solutions to architect, develop, and optimise complex applications.
- Mentor developers, conducting thorough code reviews and assuring best practices.
- Drive technical decisions and contribute to long-term strategies.
- Communicate with Team leads and other developers.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development (required).
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript (required).
- Strong experience in Vue.js (required).
- Familiarity with React (required).
- Strong knowledge of Node.js on the backend side (required).
- Strong understanding of state management, component lifecycle, and performance optimisation (required).
- Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs and WebSockets/SSE (required).
- Experience with debugging code and identifying potential memory leaks (required).
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adapting to a fast-changing environment and providing solutions for improved workflow (required).
- Understanding of CI/CD deployment procedures and workflows (required).
- Familiarity with Kafka is important as it is used across all services (required).
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB is a plus (nice-to-have).
- Advanced English skills in speaking and writing (required).
- Previous experience in the betting industry is a plus (nice-to-have).
- A starting salary from 4.000 EUR (gross/brutto1).
- On-site work with one remote day per week (available after the first 3 months of employment).
- Sliding work schedule (start anytime between 8:00 to 10:00 am).
