Description

We are seeking a Junior AI Specialist to support the Product function within a fast-paced online casino environment. This role is designed for a recent postgraduate with a strong foundation in artificial intelligence, data science, or a related field, who is looking to apply their technical knowledge to real-world product development and optimisation challenges. You will work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Commercial, Marketing, and Engineering teams to help integrate AI-driven insights, tools, and features into our gaming portfolio. The role combines analytical work, prototyping, and operational support, with a focus on improving player experience, engagement, and commercial performance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and deployment of AI/ML models to support product features (e.g., player behaviour analysis, recommendation systems, churn prediction).
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and optimisation opportunities across game performance and player activity.
  • Support the design and testing of AI-driven mechanics for games and promotional features.
  • Build and maintain internal tools or scripts to automate reporting, segmentation, and operational workflows.
  • Support integration of AI tools (e.g., chatbots, personalisation engines) into the product ecosystem.
  • Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability to online gaming and gamification.
  • Assist in prototyping new concepts for game features, bonus mechanics, or player interaction models.
  • Liaise with Engineering teams to ensure smooth implementation of AI solutions.
  • Support Commercial and Product teams with bespoke projects.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification (MSc or equivalent) in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. (required)
  • Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals (supervised/unsupervised learning, classification, regression). (required)
  • Proficiency in Python (preferred) or similar programming languages. (preferred)
  • Experience with data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn). (required)
  • Familiarity with SQL and working with large datasets. (required)
  • Basic understanding of APIs and data pipelines is advantageous. (nice-to-have)
