QA Engineer (Games)
This role is for a QA Engineer (Games) within a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days in the office. The position is a full-time contract of employment (UoP) based in Warsaw.
The QA Engineer will be an integral part of a Scrum development team, contributing to the planning and execution of testing activities for game projects. The role involves assessing product usability and reliability, providing feedback for improvements, and actively sharing knowledge within the team.
- Perform manual testing and run auto tests.
- Work closely with the automation QA on the project.
- Be a proactive member of a Scrum development team (work closely with PDM, BAs, Designers, Developers and other QA's).
- Plan & execute work that includes interdependent tasks for the projects (testing of requirements, specifications and designs, test case/plan creation, bug reporting).
- Assess product usability and reliability and provide feedback and recommendations for improvements.
- Be ready to learn, develop skills and knowledge, as well as share it.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software and functional testing (required).
- Web testing: experience with both desktop and mobile platforms (required).
- Logs Analysis: ability to work with and analyse logs (required).
- Experience with Git or other version control systems (required).
- Understanding of software development processes, stages, concepts and methodologies of Quality Assurance (required).
- Ability to work independently and take initiative (required).
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, attention to details (required).
- Good level of English (written and spoken) (required).
- Willingness to ask for help from colleagues and to help others (required).
- API Testing with proficiency in Postman (nice-to-have).
- Familiarity with these tools: Kibana, Grafana, Kafka, IDEA (nice-to-have).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins (nice-to-have).
- Basic understanding of these technologies: JavaScript Basics, CSS, XPath (nice-to-have).
