Regulatory Compliance Specialist
We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist in Malta or Latvia. This role involves administering and processing compliance obligations, including licensing for assigned markets. You will communicate regularly with various regulatory authorities to confirm regulatory and technical standards, ensuring the company meets regulations as per jurisdiction standards. You will work closely and collaboratively with other key stakeholders internally and externally in the regulatory landscape. Additionally, you will participate in the development of new market entry project plans and track progress, preparing and maintaining status reports and schedules, tracking milestones and dependencies, and ensuring that all work is delivered on time and within budget. You will communicate efficiently and maintain good professional relationships with e-gaming regulators, accredited test facilities, internal departments, external customers, and other stakeholders in the regulatory landscape. Staying up to date with regulatory development and best practice in compliance control is also a key aspect of this role. Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required may also be assigned.
- Administer and process compliance obligations, including licensing for assigned markets.
- Communicate regularly with various regulatory authorities for confirming of regulatory and technical standards to ensure that company meets regulations as per jurisdiction standards.
- Work closely and collaboratively with other key stakeholders internally and externally in the regulatory landscape.
- Participate in the development of new market entry project plan and track the progress; prepare and maintain status reports and schedules, track milestones and dependencies, ensuring that all work is delivered on time and within budget.
- Communicate efficiently and maintain/good professional relationships with e-gaming regulators, accredited test facilities, internal departments, external customers, and other stakeholders in regulatory landscape.
- Stay up to date with regulatory development and best practice in compliance control.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties that may be required.
- At least 3 years in a compliance related role in the gaming industry with knowledge of live casino environments and gambling products (required).
- Experience with gaming regulations (required).
- Regulatory Compliance experience with various European jurisdictions such as Germany, Spain, UK, Sweden, Malta, Greece, and others is a plus (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills, efficient networker, and collaborative team player (required).
- Experience of coordinating audits (required).
- Experience in communicating with people at all levels as an expert (required).
- Be able to project manage and develop project plans, track progress, prepare reports and manage expectations (required).
- Commercial mindset and business acumen (required).
- Adaptable and agile, can work in a fast-paced environment and respond and re-prioritize quickly when internal or external changes demand (required).
- Possess analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving mindset (required).
- Secondary education or professional experience relevant to the job (required).
- Good level of computer skills and experience in spreadsheets (required).
- Fluency in English, verbal and written (required).
- Fluency in more languages would be a plus, verbal and written (preferred).
