Senior Data Analyst

Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Evolution RNG Division in Stockholm. This role will operate at divisional level and be responsible for shaping, delivering and governing key data capabilities that support decision-making, operational effectiveness and risk management across the RNG organisation. The successful candidate will be a booster for teams across Commercial, Product, Fraud, Customer Support, Engineering and Operations. This person will be expected to bring structure, ownership and forward-looking thinking to critical data assets, reporting, monitoring routines and governance practices across RNG.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver data-driven insights and analysis to support commercial performance, product development, operational efficiency, and fraud prevention across the RNG division.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions and Tableau dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and effective governance.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable datasets, reporting frameworks, and process improvements that support informed decision-making.
  • Lead and contribute to data-related initiatives and projects, collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver business value.
  • Develop and improve fraud monitoring capabilities, identifying anomalies, player exploits, defects, and suspicious behaviour across RNG products.
  • Drive continuous improvements in data quality, governance, monitoring processes, and operational routines.
Requirements
  • Several years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering or a comparable senior data role. (required)
  • Strong SQL capability and proven experience building analytical datasets, reporting layers and decision-support solutions. (required)
  • Demonstrated experience working with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Superset or similar platforms, including ownership of reporting assets and user enablement. (required)
  • Ability to operate credibly with senior stakeholders and to balance hands-on delivery with broader ownership and prioritisation. (required)
  • Experience working with data governance, data quality improvement and cross-functional collaboration in complex environments. (required)
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and an ability to work effectively in ambiguous or evolving problem spaces. (required)
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to explain complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. (required)
  • A proactive, structured and outcome-focused mindset with the ability to independently drive work forward. (required)
  • Experience with AWS technologies such as Athena. (nice-to-have)
  • Experience with data management, data catalogues or operational data tools such as no-code database platforms. (nice-to-have)
  • Exposure to fraud analytics, anomaly detection, game monitoring or risk-related analytical domains. (nice-to-have)
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation and advanced analysis. (nice-to-have)
  • Experience with version control and development best practices such as Git and CI/CD workflows. (nice-to-have)
  • Background in gaming, iGaming or other digitally native, data-rich environments. (nice-to-have)
