Video SRE Engineer

We are looking for a Linux engineer in Evolution's Video team, which caters independent solutions for video delivery for in-house built encoding and delivery systems, as well as support tools for production systems.

• Deployment and administration of Linux server systems
• Deployment and administration of full stack of application software – applications, databases, virtualization platforms, and OS tools
• Project support for IT system implementation and integration
• Application problem analysis and resolution, engaging with 3rd party suppliers
• Automation of system deployment and administration tasks
• Creating architecture for video delivery services

• Profound knowledge and practical experience with Linux OS, virtualization platforms, and server hardware (required)
• At least 5 years in Linux and IT system administration (required)
• Knowledge and practical experience with the administration of enterprise applications (required)
• Experience using open-source IT system support tools (monitoring, backup, logging) and ticketing/workflow systems (required)
• Basic knowledge of programming (Bash, Python, SQL) (required)
• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins), Linux configuration management and deployment tools (Ansible), cloud platforms (AWS) preferred (preferred)
• Enterprise employment background preferred (preferred)
• Good English language and communication skills (required)
• Training and certification in Linux and virtualization platform administration (nice-to-have)
• Experience with Terraform (nice-to-have)

• Gross monthly salary from 4700 EUR to 6600 EUR
