Description

The role of the Sportsbook Brand manager will play a pivotal role in helping to execute our brand across all available touch points. Responsible for delivering creative briefs across integrated campaigns to bring to life messages that will be compelling to our target audience. This role will work alongside all marketing teams to ensure high quality execution upholding our brand proposition. The ideal candidate has experience working on high quality brands in competitive markets, can contribute to the building of communications platforms, and relishes working with a range of stakeholders. Reporting into the Brand Marketing function, this is an impactful role that will help deliver the long-term strategic direction of our marketing in our drive to become America’s next iconic sports & gaming brand.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the captain of our Sportsbook marketing execution, coordinating deliverables cross-functionally so everyone knows their role and when actions are deliverable by.
  • Understand our main marketing objectives and helps shape approach alongside other teams to go after key moments that matter in our marketing plans specifically focused on our Sportsbook led customer.
  • Produce high quality creative briefs & signs off on creative execution across integrated campaigns.
  • Manage our creative agency day-to-day, ensuring alignment between our Sportsbook brand and creative concepts.
  • Understand our Sportsbook target audience and looks for opportunities to leverage priority brand RTBs (reason-to-believe) especially within key tentpole sporting moments.
  • Understand media planning and can effectively work with our media teams to bring our Sportsbook messaging to life within key placements.
  • Ensure effective communication of plans – especially when leading integrated planning and across key areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure effective briefing processes are in place for delivery with excellence and co-ordinates optimization of our creative delivery process with our creative operations teams.
  • Review competitor advertising communication, looking for opportunities to optimize the delivery of our proposition in market.
  • Build the internal brand of Sportsbook – creates a drum beat of company-wide internal comms opportunities.
  • Be a customer advocate in all marketing campaigns, ensuring that the brand and our consumers are at the heart of our created communications.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in brand, communications or marketing – ideally with category experience in sports, gaming, and technology (required).
  • Experience working on both new and existing brands in competitive markets (required).
  • Experience applying traditional brand building skills in a growth & performance-oriented digital business (required).
  • Ability to critically evaluate creative execution to ensure it delivers on our objectives (required).
  • Ability to deliver creative feedback effectively and synthesize collective feedback coming from various stakeholders (required).
  • Ability to steer creative feedback process involving cross-functional partners (required).
  • Ability to work with a wider variety of stakeholders to understand problems and help solve them with action (required).
  • Understands data – whether that’s business or brand health data to give the context on why we need to prioritize activity (required).
  • Enjoys the pace of a growing business, can work fast when required but is also able to step back and work strategically (required).
  • High quality interpersonal and presentation skills – people enjoy working with you, and you inspire with your passion for the brand (required).
  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry (nice-to-have).
