Senior Data Analyst

Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team. You will derive insights for group-wide and commercial teams in order to drive actionable insights about the business. You will work alongside a group of other analysts through various individual and team assignments to continually evolve the various tools, models, and data visualizations used to drive the FanDuel Group business. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Be the strategic partner and data expert with Growth/CRM to drive important key insights.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to drive collaboration and maintain strategic roadmap.
  • Deliver key strategic projects that are critical to business goals set for the year.
  • Create, modify and evolve models and data visualizations to better understand and explain the day to day performance of various commercial KPIs.
  • Create and maintain automated business critical reporting processes visible to the commercial and group-wide teams.
  • Participate in presentations focused on using analysis to drive new business outcomes.
  • Field and fulfill requests for various business inquires.
Requirements
  • 3+ year of experience in an analytics role (preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major (Math, Stats, Econ, etc.) or relevant experience in data and/or business analysis (required)
  • Strong personal organizational and time management skills (required)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a lot of ambiguity (required)
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel required; experience with Python preferred
  • Strong problem solving skills, allied with track record of transforming data into actionable business insight (required)
  • Experience working in groups and leading smaller intra year projects (required)
  • Experience collaboratively working with colleagues in other countries and time zones preferred
  • Interest in Fantasy Sports and/or Sports Gaming preferred
