Content Manager - Portugal
As the Content Manager for PokerStars.pt, you will lead all Customer Marketing communication channels across the Portuguese platform, including website, push, email, and in-product communications. You will be responsible for writing compelling and compliant Portuguese content and own the planning, briefing, and creation of high-quality customer communication assets that drive commercial objectives while maintaining brand consistency. - Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans across all customer touchpoints.
- Create content calendars aligned with commercial objectives and promotional activities.
- Ensure all content adheres to Portuguese tone of voice and PokerStars brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to support product launches, promotions, and campaigns.
- Lead the creation of customer-facing content in Portuguese across multiple channels, ensuring Copywriters, Studio, Website and Channel Teams are briefed correctly and have the correct assets available in accordance with SLAs.
- Write and edit compelling copy for emails, push notifications, website content, and in-app messaging.
- Develop engaging content that drives player acquisition, retention, and reactivation.
- Maintain content consistency across all platforms and touchpoints aligned with wider Marketing channels.
- Ensure all content meets Portuguese regulatory requirements and responsible gaming standards.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to maintain adherence to local regulations.
- Implement quality control processes for all customer communications.
- Stay updated on Portuguese gambling advertising regulations and guidelines.
- Monitor content performance metrics and KPIs.
- Conduct A/B testing to optimise messaging effectiveness.
- Analyse customer engagement data to inform content strategies.
- Report on content performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with Network, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
- Collaborate with design teams for visual content requirements.
- Coordinate with wider commercial team for campaign execution.
- Native-level Portuguese language skills with excellent written communication (required).
- 3-5 years of content management experience, preferably in gaming/gambling industry (required).
- Proven track record in multi-channel content creation (required).
- Strong understanding of Portuguese market and cultural nuances (required).
- Experience with content management systems and marketing automation tools (required).
- Knowledge of Portuguese gambling regulations and responsible gaming requirements (required).
- Experience with PokerStars or similar iGaming brands (nice-to-have).
- Understanding of poker (nice-to-have).
