SEO Specialist (12 Month FTC)
We are looking for an SEO Specialist to join our performance marketing team based in Leeds or Dublin. You will be reporting to the Senior Search Manager as part of a team of organic and paid search enthusiasts. This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. Working closely with the SEO Manager, you will play a key role in driving organic growth across a portfolio of international websites. Collaborating with a central technical Product team, alongside internal content and blog teams, you will help ensure SEO best practices and recommendations are effectively implemented and prioritised. You will be responsible for monitoring and improving keyword performance, identifying opportunities to increase organic visibility, and reporting on SEO results to key stakeholders across the business. The role also offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with the Partnership & Communities Manager and Blog & Learn Manager, helping to shape and maximise the impact of PR and content campaigns through SEO insights, implementation, and knowledge sharing.
- Drive organic growth across a portfolio of international websites.
- Collaborate with technical product, content, and blog teams to implement and prioritise SEO best practices.
- Monitor and improve keyword performance.
- Identify opportunities to increase organic visibility.
- Report on SEO results to key stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally to shape and maximise the impact of PR and content campaigns through SEO insights and knowledge sharing.
- Deep understanding of SEO ranking factors, algorithm updates, and standard methodology (required).
- Awareness of international website optimisation techniques (required).
- Competence with SEO tools such as GA4, GSC, and Semrush or similar (required).
- Understanding of content strategy across owned and earned assets (required).
- Basic understanding of popular crawling tools like Ahrefs and Deepcrawl (required).
- Understanding of user intent and keyword research (required).
- Ability to create clear, well-optimised content briefs and amend existing content (required).
- Experience conducting competitor research to identify gaps and opportunities (required).
- Strong analytical and Excel skills with experience working with large data sets (required).
- Comfortable reporting and presenting results to senior stakeholders (required).
- Passionate about SEO with a commitment to following latest trends and tools (required).
- Experience running organic and paid SEO activities (preferred).
- Strong understanding of technical SEO and deep knowledge of crawling tools (preferred).
- Experience in content strategy to drive SEO performance (preferred).
- Previous experience in a global business operating in regulated markets (preferred).
