If you're obsessed with user journeys, seamless user experience and optimising conversion rates, this is a challenge you'll enjoy getting into. As a CRO Specialist you will play a key role in improving our digital products using a structured best-in-class A/B split testing approach. It is a key role within the Product Organisation as you will have a direct impact on the users of our portfolio of websites and be at the core of a test and learn culture within Gentoo Media. This is an excellent opportunity to be working for a fast-growing company in a creative and dynamic environment. You will be working closely with the other members of the team to execute the overall business strategy from a site management perspective together with SEO managers, Content Team, Developers and Product Owners.

Responsibilities
  • Dive deep into analytics and user research to understand user behavior, spot trends, and formulate data-driven decisions (we mainly rely on GA4, MS Clarity, Lyssna and a few other tools).
  • Identify growth opportunities across the customer journey, from awareness to reactivation, and develop a roadmap for experimentation across the Gentoo Media Group.
  • Own the process of Design, implementation, and evaluation of A/B tests and other experiments to drive growth and retention.
  • Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, from design to developers to Project Managers and Content Writers, to deliver on growth initiatives.
  • Leverage technical skills to effectively partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement new experimentation.
  • Maintain roadmap, requirements gathering, test implementation, measurement, and next-step recommendations to drive measurable increases in conversion rates and revenue.
  • Design and implement testing processes and internal tools, in collaboration with Development Teams, Design, and Operations, that enable the team to work more efficiently and in an agile manner to support the rapid growth of the company.
  • Build a QA practice to verify that all test variations are working as expected before a test launch and check early data post-launch to detect any issues.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and translate research findings, insights, and data into actionable, measurable UX recommendations, content update or website improvements.
Requirements
  • Well-versed in spoken and written English (required).
  • Knowledgeable in GA4 and know how to analyse data and identify opportunities. Able to set up relevant filtering so data becomes more accurate. Solid general knowledge of GA4 is expected (required).
  • Be able to create a basic landing page in HTML & CSS assisted by the development teams (required).
  • Know what is possible to do with html, css and Javascript and you can perform some debugging where required (required).
  • Switch links based on URL parameters (required).
  • Knowledge on how to analyse and understand user behaviour, behavioural psychology and how to transform that knowledge into website design that convert (required).
  • You are expected to be internet savvy with a curious mind; you want the business to improve all the time (required).
