Senior Accountant
We are looking for a senior accountant who will independently manage all accounting and financial aspects of our entity in France and liaise with the group's entities in Malta to ensure proper reporting.
- Keep accounting up to date to ensure that monthly reporting deadlines set by the group are met.
- Manage all aspects of accounting work up to tax filing. Support from a certified accountant will be available if needed.
- Handle tax filings (VAT, ...) on a monthly basis.
- Oversee and manage bank accounts and prepare cash flow forecasts for internal reporting purposes.
- Support the group's finance team in all aspects of reporting by providing sufficient and relevant information so they can manage all financial objectives.
- Liaise with internal/external advisors (accountants, auditors, ...) to ensure compliance with the requirements of the French entity: o banks to ensure smooth information flow o local auditors to complete audits o group to complete the group audit
- Experienced accountant (at least 10 years) in an international environment (English level B2/C1 required) or in an accounting firm (required).
- Independent and open-minded person, able to manage their own work (required).
- Ability to have an overall view of accounting processes to organize priorities and ensure deadlines are met (required).
