Junior Revenue Accountant

Description

This role exists to ensure our growth is backed by rock-solid financial integrity. You’ll help us scale our global B2B operations by owning the accuracy, completeness, and transparency of revenue recognition across multiple products and jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform monthly revenue recognition for all B2B products (Sportsbook, Casino, Platform fees, Managed Services).
  • Ensure correct application of IFRS 15 principles for complex contracts, variable consideration, and multi‑element arrangements.
  • Reconcile revenue data across internal systems, data warehouses, client reports, and accounting software.
  • Prepare monthly Revenue Packs and variance explanations for FP&A and senior management.
  • Review commercial contracts to validate billing logic, pricing models, and revenue triggers.
  • Generate and validate B2B client invoices (fixed fees, revenue share, minimum guarantees, and overages).
  • Monitor amendments and new product launches to ensure immediate and accurate financial treatment.
  • Work closely with Product, Data, Commercial, and Finance Ops teams to ensure revenue‑related data flows are correct and complete.
  • Participate in testing and validation of new features impacting revenue (new markets, new products, pricing changes).
  • Support automation initiatives to improve reconciliation, reporting, and billing accuracy.
  • Maintain strong internal controls over revenue processes.
  • Support internal and external audits with revenue‑related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in Revenue Accounting, Audit, or Finance (preferably in Tech, SaaS, Telecom, or iGaming).
  • Strong understanding of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition principles.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with BI tools and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Experience working with large datasets and reconciling multiple data sources.
  • Ability to read and interpret commercial contracts.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
  • Ownership mindset - you ensure numbers are correct end‑to‑end.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly to non‑finance teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
