Primary KYC Specialist

Description

The Primary KYC Specialist role involves managing the flow of incoming documents for user verification and manually processing KYC documentation. The specialist is responsible for reviewing results from third-party identity verification providers and making informed decisions regarding approval or escalation. This position requires a high level of attention to detail to detect fraudulent activity and ensure data accuracy while maintaining compliance with quality control standards and service level agreements.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the flow of incoming documents for primary user verification.
  • Manually process KYC documentation, primarily for clients.
  • Process and review verification results received from third-party identity verification providers, making approval or escalation decisions where required.
  • Define the required set of documents for user verification.
  • Detect fraudulent activity in identity, payment, and residence documents, as well as identify inconsistencies in automated verification results.
  • Adhere to the expected quality control standards for daily tasks, meet target SLAs, and manage workload efficiently.
  • Identify primary fraudulent activities and contribute to the development of effective fraud prevention controls.
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of data provided by clients.
  • Advise clients on missing KYC documents and verification requirements.
  • Make decisions on the approval of clients' KYC documentation and third-party verification outcomes.
  • Utilize various CRM systems and identity verification platforms effectively.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in English at an intermediate level or higher (required).
  • Ability to process large volumes of data in a short period (required).
  • Ability to work within a rotating shift schedule (required).
  • Relevant previous experience in the field of customer care/customer onboarding/customer experience (required).
  • Understanding of basic KYC and AML procedures (required).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy (required).
  • Ability to stay focused and productive while performing repetitive tasks (required).
  • Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and self-discipline (required).
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and consistently meet SLA targets (required).
