Graphic Designer

This role involves operational graphic design duties for both print and digital platforms. Responsibilities include conceptualizing, designing, and preparing artwork for print, as well as creating designs for websites and social media. The role requires proficiency in design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Corel Draw, with an emphasis on setting up artwork correctly for print. The designer must manage multiple projects, work under pressure with tight deadlines, and maintain a high attention to detail. Collaboration with printing partners and clients is essential, as is adherence to company policies and quality standards, ensuring error-free and unbiased designs. Ad-hoc functions as needed are also part of the role.

• Conceptualise, design, layout and make up to completion for print

• Ability to set up artwork for print
• Photoshop / Illustrator - for Design and Editing
• Corel draw for design in the signage space
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to cope with many projects at any given time
• Must be able to perform under-pressure and on tight deadlines

• Ensure logical saving of all work, designs, artwork, approvals etc.
• Ensure that all artwork, designs, approvals etc are chronologically saved/backed up.
• Ensure error free designs with accurate content.
• Ensure that designs are free from racial, gender bias, derogatory, defamatory comments.
• Adhoc functions as needed.

• Matric (Advantageous)
