Backend Engineer (iGaming)

We are searching for a talented Backend Software Engineer based in Belgrade who is passionate about gaming and ensuring seamless player experiences. Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize server-side game logic and simulations for real-money iGaming products.
- Develop and maintain backend systems and game logic.
- Build and optimize game simulations.
- Collaborate with game designers and cross-functional teams.
- Write clean code, unit tests, and participate in code reviews.
- Solve technical challenges and support timely delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience (strong OOP/OOD) within iGaming industry (required)
- Strong Java experience (required)
- JavaScript is a plus (nice-to-have)
- BS / MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree (Math, ETF, FON) (required)
- Experience with server-side development (required)
- Full-stack is a plus (nice-to-have)
- Knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and testing practices (required)
- Familiarity with cloud (AWS/GCP) and tools like Jenkins or Maven (required)
- Candidates must be fully eligible to work full-time under a local employment contract in Serbia (required)
