Senior Finance Business Partner Technology
We are recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner Technology to play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of Technology within the Online Betting & Gaming (“OBG”) Business Unit (“BU”), one of the Group’s most strategic and exposed perimeters. Reporting directly to the Group Technology Performance Manager, the role provides end to end financial business partnering to senior Technology leadership, supports major transformation initiatives, and line manages a junior Technology Finance Business Partner based in Stockholm, and travel regularly to ensure effective on-site collaboration. This is a high visibility role, combining strategic financial leadership, technology performance management, and hands on execution in a dynamic, international environment.
- You own budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning cycles for OBG Technology costs, in close collaboration with Technology leaders and Group Technology Performance teams .
- You partner with FP&A to oversee the monthly reporting cycle, ensuring data accuracy, delivering insightful variance analysis, and providing clear and compelling performance narratives to senior management.
- You prepare and lead Technology Performance Committees, delivering actionable insights to support decision-making.
- You perform ROI analyses, scenario modelling and business case evaluations for strategic technology investments.
- You Own the long range planning cycles for OBG Technology costs, ensuring plans are realistic, value driven, and aligned with Group strategy.
- You deploy and enhance the Group Technology Performance framework across the OBG Business Unit, and contribute to its future evolution.
- You maintain and evolve financial models (cost structures, resource and capacity planning, Capex, software/hardware investments) and continuously adapt the cost management approach to strengthen IT cost oversight within the OBG BU (including project delivery, headcount planning & management).
- You drive continuous improvement of processes, tools and planning capabilities.
- You contribute to the Carbon IT roadmap, supporting sustainability and ESG targets.
- You act as the trusted, autonomous finance partner to OBG Technology leadership.
- You constructively challenge assumptions, drive accountability, and support value-based decision making.
- You confidently present performance updates, risks, and opportunities to senior and executive level stakeholders.
- You reporting directly to the Group Technology Performance Manager, with a dotted‑line reporting relationship to the OBG Business Unit Lead Finance Business Partner, the role provides end‑to‑end financial business partnering to OBG Technology leadership, ensuring proactive communication and effective collaboration.
- Line manage a Technology Finance Business Partner based in Stockholm, fully dedicated to the OBG BU.
- This role requires regular travel, particularly to Stockholm to ensure effective on-site collaboration.
- You collaborate with other Finance Business Partners and Business teams to support Group cost discipline and strategic priorities.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to operate autonomously while contributing to a broader team.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to manage both upwards and downwards.
- Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills in English and French, able to translate financial complexity into business focused insights.
- Advanced capability in Excel and PowerPoint, and strong working knowledge of financial and analytical tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, Adaptive, Qlik Sense, or Power BI.
- Solid understanding of technology organizations, operating models, and cost drivers; prior exposure to IT, digital, or platform environments is a strong advantage.
- 7–10 years’ experience in financial management, FP&A, or performance controlling, including P&L ownership, Capex, and economic modelling.
- At least one role embedded within a technology or digital organisation.
- Master’s degree from a leading business or engineering school or a recognised professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
- Proven track record of owning full planning cycles end to end and presenting to executive level stakeholders.
