Digital PR Specialist

Description

Legend is hiring a Digital PR Specialist to join their Digital PR team. This role will focus on securing high-authority backlinks through creative campaigns, expert commentary, and timely newsjacking for one of their flagship brands. The specialist will have the opportunity to shape creative direction and drive growth within a new sub-team, with full support from the established Digital PR team. This position offers the freedom to own campaigns from concept to execution, experiment, take risks, and deliver results through bold ideas and creative storytelling. The ideal candidate is an innovative, strategic thinker who excels at crafting compelling campaigns that earn top-tier coverage through unique angles, making a real impact and pushing creative boundaries in a fast-moving, competitive industry.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end Digital PR campaigns to secure high-authority backlinks from top-tier media through innovative campaigns, helping the brand grow organic visibility and outperform competitors in search.
  • Drive media relations and outreach by building meaningful media relationships with US and Canadian journalists, ensuring repeat coverage and long-term link-building opportunities.
  • Play a key role in shaping the creative direction of a newly formed Digital PR sub-team, influencing processes, best practices, and overall team tone and vision.
  • Position the brand as a market leader in its category by consistently generating media coverage that reinforces authority, relevance, and trustworthiness.
  • Collaborate with SEO, content, and wider marketing stakeholders to align campaigns with keyword priorities, audience needs, and commercial objectives.
  • Build on early success to develop repeatable, scalable Digital PR strategies that drive long-term impact and support team growth.
Requirements
  • A proven track record of landing coverage and backlinks across US and Canadian media; experience in sports, iGaming or entertainment is a plus.
  • A desire for developing standout, newsworthy campaign ideas that resonate with media and deliver results.
  • Ability to craft compelling narratives and uncover a story in data, trends, and expert insight.
  • Confident and persuasive in pitching stories, providing expert commentary, and building journalist relationships.
  • Comfortable analyzing data and pulling out insights to support campaign angles — no advanced technical skills needed.
  • A self-starter who can run campaigns end-to-end while thriving in a fast-moving, collaborative team environment.
Benefits
  • Super smart colleagues to work alongside and learn from.
  • Engaging development opportunities at all levels.
  • Tailored flexibility for your work-life balance.
  • Annual discretionary bonus to reward your efforts.
  • Paid annual leave PLUS a well-deserved break to recharge your batteries during the festive season (offices closed between Christmas and New Year's).
  • Exciting global Legend events.
