The Financial Reporting team plays a central role within the global Finance function, partnering with the business to support ongoing growth while safeguarding financial compliance, transparency and integrity across the group.

As Financial Accountant, you will support the accurate, clear and timely reporting of financial performance to internal and external stakeholders. You will work across the balance sheet, cash flow and P&L, helping to ensure financial outputs are robust, well-controlled and compliant with applicable reporting standards.

This role offers strong visibility, tangible impact and the opportunity to deepen your expertise in statutory reporting, audit and technical accounting within a multinational US-listed group.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain high-quality reconciliations, working papers and reporting schedules.
  • Support cash flow monitoring, forecasting and financial performance reporting.
  • Oversee the quality and integrity of financial outputs produced by finance operations.
  • Work with the technical accounting team on the preparation and submission of filings to regulators, tax authorities and statutory bodies.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, earnings reports and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with the reconciliation and translation of financial information from IFRS to US GAAP.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements.
  • Support audit, external reporting and internal governance processes.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance reporting quality, internal controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Partner with Finance Operations, FP&A, auditors and other key stakeholders to ensure financial information is clearly communicated and consistently applied.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant, such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in an accounting environment, ideally with exposure to statutory reporting, audit or technical accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting principles, including IFRS and/or US GAAP.
  • Experience preparing or supporting financial statements, working papers, reconciliations or statutory outputs.
  • High attention to detail, with a meticulous approach to compliance documentation and audit support.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate inconsistencies, resolve issues and assess reporting risks.
  • Confidence using Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
  • A strong desire to build expertise in technical accounting and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively with auditors, technical accounting teams and cross-functional finance stakeholders.
  • Exposure to M&A activity or post-acquisition integration would be advantageous but is not essential.
Benefits
  • Super smart colleagues to work alongside and learn from.
  • Engaging development opportunities at all levels.
  • Tailored flexibility for your work-life balance.
  • Annual discretionary bonus to reward your efforts.
  • Paid annual leave PLUS a well-deserved break to recharge your batteries during the festive season!
  • Our offices are closed between Christmas and New Year's, allowing you to enjoy downtime without dipping into your annual allowance.
  • Exciting global Legend events, where we unite in person to ignite our shared passion and unveil the exciting strategies for the year ahead!
