Technical Team Leader
As a squad leader for one of our key Product teams, you'll play a crucial role in driving the development, adoption and optimisation of our products while contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and growth across the business. This role is the ideal position for technical leaders who want to nurture and grow a team of Engineers whilst still staying close to technical delivery. - Lead and Inspire: Effectively guide a high-performing engineering team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Solve Complex Problems: Apply strong problem-solving skills to tackle technical challenges, ensuring the successful completion of projects and initiatives.
- Mentor and Guide: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to squad members, maintaining high standards and adherence to industry best practices.
- Facilitate Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including product management, content, design, SEO, and delivery—to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Promote Growth: Cultivate a culture of learning and development, supporting the professional growth of team members through ongoing training, mentorship, and skill-building opportunities.
- Led the design and implementation of scalable solutions capable of handling large data volumes or high traffic with minimal performance impact.
- Skilled in modern frontend technologies, ideally including React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Skilled in modern backend technologies, ideally Node.js.
- Ability to still get in to the weeds & change code, this role is partially a hands on position
- Proficient in deploying applications to cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
- Managed and mentored a team of Product facing engineers across multiple levels of seniority.
- Strong communicator with a track record of effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of best engineering practices, including testing, pair programming, documentation, and code reviews.
- Starting salary from 4500 EUR per month.
