Description

We are looking for an experienced and resourceful Technical Artist with 3–6 years of experience in game development, preferably in iGaming or slot games. In this role, you will act as a bridge between art and development, ensuring that creative assets are smoothly integrated into the game while maintaining performance, quality, and efficiency. You will also contribute to improving production workflows by using automation and AI-driven tools. While some level of creative contribution is expected, the role has a strong focus on technical execution, with creative work mainly driven through AI-assisted asset generation and refinement.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the link between art, design, and engineering teams
  • Prepare and implement assets, animations, and effects in engine-ready formats
  • Ensure assets follow pipelines and function correctly within the game
  • Troubleshoot asset-related integration issues
  • Design and improve workflows for asset creation, export, and integration
  • Develop scripts, tools, or plugins to improve efficiency
  • Standardise file formats, naming conventions, and folder structures
  • Introduce automation to reduce manual work
  • Use AI tools to support art production, including concept exploration and variations
  • Generate initial game assets using AI and refine/rework them to make them game-ready
  • Identify opportunities for AI-based automation in repetitive tasks
  • Guide artists in effective and responsible use of AI tools
  • Ensure AI-generated outputs maintain quality, style consistency, and technical requirements
  • Optimise textures, animations, and VFX for performance and memory usage
  • Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements
  • Apply best practices for compression and scaling
  • Ensure assets meet technical and platform requirements
  • Integrate and troubleshoot Spine 2D animations
  • Work with After Effects for motion graphics and transitions
  • Ensure balance between visual quality and performance
  • Work closely with artists, designers, developers, and producers
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the art team
  • Resolve production challenges efficiently
  • Ensure smooth cross-team communication
  • Document tools, workflows, and best practices
  • Maintain clear guidelines for asset preparation
  • Support team learning through knowledge sharing sessions
Requirements
  • Strong experience in Photoshop and After Effects
  • Solid understanding of Spine workflows
  • Hands-on experience with game asset pipelines and optimisation
  • Familiarity with game file formats (PNG, PSD, JSON, FBX, etc.)
  • Basic exposure to AI tools in art workflows
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience in iGaming or slot games (good to have)
  • Knowledge of game engines and integration workflows (good to have)
  • Understanding of shaders and particle systems (good to have)
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Python or similar) (good to have)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, Perforce) (good to have)
