Network Architecture & Operations Senior Specialist
We are looking for a professional to join the Operations & Technology Department as a Network Engineer Expert. This role involves the management of Core Network, Datacenter, and Campus network segments, including delivery, monitoring, assurance, and troubleshooting of the corporate network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving faults, anomalies, and service degradations. Key tasks include configuration, management, and maintenance of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, IPS probes, load balancers, WiFi controllers, NAC systems, RADIUS servers, and monitoring platforms. The role also requires the creation and maintenance of technical and operational documentation. Availability to participate in an on-call support rotation is required.
- Management of Core Network, Datacenter, and Campus network segments.
- Delivery, monitoring, assurance, and troubleshooting of the corporate network infrastructure.
- Monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving faults, anomalies, and service degradations.
- Configuration, management, and maintenance of network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, IPS probes, load balancers, WiFi controllers, NAC systems, RADIUS servers, and monitoring platforms.
- Creation and maintenance of technical and operational documentation.
- Availability to participate in an on-call support rotation is required.
- Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent (required).
- At least 5 years of experience in the networking field (required).
- Proven experience managing Datacenter, Campus, and Core network infrastructures (required).
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASR1000/9000, and Cisco ISR platforms (required).
- Advanced knowledge of Layer 2 protocols, including STP, LACP, HSRP, VRRP, and WiFi technologies (required).
- Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS protocols (required).
- Experience managing firewalls, IPS probes, NAC systems, and load balancers (required).
- Experience with monitoring and configuration management systems (required).
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems (required).
- Excellent written and spoken English (required).
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical/scientific disciplines (nice-to-have).
- Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent (nice-to-have).
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls (nice-to-have).
- Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP platforms (nice-to-have).
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco Nexus 9000 series platforms (nice-to-have).
- Experience with HP Aruba networking solutions and ClearPass NAC (nice-to-have).
- Experience with Network Visibility and Packet Capture solutions (nice-to-have).
- Knowledge of monitoring platforms such as PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios, and Observium (nice-to-have).
- Knowledge of physical transmission technologies, including optical fiber, DWDM, CWDM, WiFi, and radio communication systems (nice-to-have).
