Account Executive
The Account Executive will take ownership of revenue across Western Canada, with a primary focus on strengthening and growing the company's presence within the Vancouver agency and brand community. This is a relationship-driven, market-facing role where success is built on reputation, consistent client engagement, and the ability to add value beyond the transaction. The role requires maintaining a strong and visible presence in the market, deepening existing partnerships, and competing effectively in an increasingly competitive landscape. Additionally, the position involves identifying and developing new business opportunities in under-represented Western Canadian markets, including Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, through proactive outreach and initiative.
- Proactively build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with agency and brand partners across Western Canada, with a primary focus on Vancouver.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic account development, consistent client engagement, and high-quality service.
- Maintain an active and visible presence in the Vancouver market through frequent in-person meetings, industry events, and client entertainment, including evenings.
- Represent theScore in the market with professionalism, credibility, and a strong understanding of client needs.
- Develop thoughtful, insight-driven media proposals aligned with client objectives, budgets, and KPIs.
- Clearly articulate and defend recommendations to agency partners and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver best-in-class campaigns and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities in underdeveloped Western Canadian markets through travel, outreach, and relationship building.
- Regularly travel to markets such as Calgary, Edmonton, and others to build relationships and uncover new opportunities.
- Manage your territory autonomously, balancing relationship management, revenue growth, and pipeline development.
- 3+ years of digital sales or relevant experience (required).
- Demonstrated success in digital media sales or a related field, or clear evidence of strong performance in a client-facing or commercial role, with the ability to build trusted relationships and contribute to revenue growth (required).
- Strong reputation within the Vancouver agency and brand community, where trust, credibility, and consistent presence are essential to success (required).
- Proven ability to navigate agency environments and work effectively with planners and buyers (required).
- Comfortable working in a role that requires frequent in-person meetings, client entertainment, and ongoing engagement outside of standard business hours (required).
- Proven track record of reaching sales targets and revenue goals (required).
- Strong knowledge of digital media environment (required).
- Experienced presenter (required).
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal (required).
- In-depth understanding of mobile technologies and marketplace (required).

- On-Target-Earnings (OTE) of $125K+ including base salary and commission incentives.
