Business Analyst
Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our products and services meet user requirements and business objectives. The Business Analyst will play a key role in the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery.
Responsibilities
- Interaction with key stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements, consulting them on opportunities, dependencies, and risks
- Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with internal and external stakeholders
- Translate business goals into actionable tasks for development teams
- Create and maintain documentation within areas of responsibility (requirements specifications, workflows, knowledge base articles, user manuals, maintenance manuals, etc.)
- Review and approve user stories in collaboration with Product Managers, Project Managers, and technical specialists
- Presentation of user stories and business flows to the development team, clarification of ambiguous points, and continuous refinement based on feedback and technical discussions
- Ensure consistency and traceability of requirements throughout the product lifecycle
- Ownership and deep understanding of the product domain, features, and business processes to proactively identify opportunities, gaps, and risks
- Support release planning, backlog refinement, and prioritization activities
- Drive process improvements within the Business Analysis function and across delivery teams
- Share knowledge and best practices with other departments to promote advanced approaches, standards, and technologies
- Mentor and support Junior/Middle Business Analysts when needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT product or software development companies
- Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, prioritization, and documentation
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments
- Ability to transform business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience creating and maintaining documentation: BRD, SRS, user stories, use cases, process flows, UML/BPMN diagrams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience facilitating workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews
- Understanding of SDLC and software delivery processes
- Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, and Designers
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English level (spoken and written)
- Understanding of system architecture and microservices approaches
- Experience working with distributed or international teams
- Experience mentoring Junior/Middle Business Analysts
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA, AAC, etc.)
- Strong ownership and accountability
